For private adoptions, Rebekah Children’s Services can complete a home study for you.
If you are involved in a private adoption, and need a home study to complete the certification process, Rebekah Children's Services can help. Family Linkage provides private adoption home studies and makes these a priority. These are done quickly.
You can expect to participate in a minimum of 5 hours of interview time with the home study evaluator. Additional time may be needed dependant upon family size and couple status. At least one interview will be in your home.
You will need to complete a health and a criminal background check (FBI, DOJ and Child Abuse Index.) A copy of these reports will need to be provided to the home study evaluator.
Revisions to home studies after the final report has been written and approved are available. This might be necessary if your family moves during the time of the home study process. This fee is due and payable at the time that the changes are made.
After adoption visits are available.
