Q. My child is having behavioral problems. How can I get help from RCS?
A. RCS provides outpatient therapy to children residing in Santa Clara and Northern San Benito Counties who have only Medi-Cal, Healthy Families or no insurance coverage. Call RCS and ask for a Client Services Representative 408-846-2100 (Spanish and English is spoken.)
Q. Can the children of parents without legal immigration status get care at RCS?
A. Yes, for outpatient therapy.
Q. How do I get my child into a prevention group at school?
A. Talk to your Gilroy school counselor or your child's teacher. You can also call RCS and ask for a Client Servcies Representative 408-846-2100 (Spanish and English is spoken.)
Q. What do I need to do to place my child in your Residential Program?
A. Call RCS and ask for a Client Services Representative 408-846-2100 (Spanish and English is spoken.) Most children referred to residential care come through the Santa Clara County Departments of Social Services, Probation or Mental Health, although private and insurance-funded placements are considered.
Q. What do I need to do to get Wraparound services for my child?
A. Call RCS and ask for a Client Services Representative 408-846-2100. Currently our Compadres program provides Wraparound services to Santa Clara County clients referred to RCS through a County Multidisciplinary Team. Private Wraparound referrals will be considered on a case by case basis.
Q. How do I enroll my child in your Phoenix Non-Public School?
A. A child must have a current and complete Individualized Education Plan (IEP) which indicates a non-public school placement.
