Rebekah Children's Home was founded in 1897 as an orphanage. It received 501(c)(3) status in 1953 which allowed it to accept charitable contributions. In 1957, Rebekah Children’s Services began caring for children referred by the courts because of neglect and abuse. Today it is recognized as a leading provider of mental health services for children and families throughout Santa Clara County, as well as, the State of California.

The following benefits are not intended to replace your complete Summary Plan Descriptions provided upon hire. This is a brief highlight of the benefits that Rebekah Children’s Services provides for their employees. All benefits, other than the retirement savings plan, are effective on the 1st of the month after date of hire.

Flexible Benefits Plan

Medical: Save up to $2600 of pre-tax income to pay non-reimbursed medical expenses

Dependent Care: Save up to $5,000 of pre-tax income for dependent care expenses.

Retirement Savings Plan*

RCS’ 401(k) Plan allows you to defer up to 100% of pre-tax pay ($16,500 annual maximum into a retirement savings account administered by Standard Insurance Company). Fully vested after 3 years of employment.

This benefit is effective 90 days after employment.

Eligible part-time (regular, 20 hours or more) employees earn PTO on a pro-rated basis based on their scheduled hours

Holiday Pay

RCS annually observes 10 paid holidays.

Employee Assistance Program

RCS pays for this service for all employees. Includes free confidential counseling services for any personal problems employees may be experiencing.

Employee Referral Program

Refer a friend to work at RCS and receive money after 3 months of hire.

Bilingual Pay

For employees in positions for which bilingual ability is required.

Employee Tuition Reimbursement Program

Provides financial assistance to qualified employees for college/university career development in the field of Human Services or the areas supporting the delivery of Human Services. The Agency may reimburse tuition (and related expenses for books/fees) within the approved Human Resources budget.
