Rebekah Children’s Services welcomes energetic, caring and creative volunteers to help meet the needs of children and families in our community. We would be unable to provide the numerous programs and services without the skills and passion of our volunteers. There are numerous opportunities for volunteers to contribute and partner with Rebekah Children’s Services. Individuals, groups or companies are invited to volunteer. Whether you offer your time, monetary support, skill set, energy, or creativity-Rebekah Children’s Services will find a perfect fit for you-and we can’t thank you enough!

Fundraising Committees
Rebekah Children’s Services hosts 3-5 fundraising events throughout the year. Committee members have a wonderful time creating the theme, developing the event and hosting an experience that embraces community awareness and excitement. These events are enormously important for Rebekah Children’s Services because they provide much needed funding while also educating the community about our services and programs. Currently there are three major event committees that would love to have your membership and creative support. The RCS Bowl-a-thon is usually hosted in April, RCS Casino Night is hosted in the month of August and our Festival of Trees event closes out the year in November.
Mentors
Volunteer to be a mentor! A friend. A role model. A confidant. A nurturer of possibilities. Mentoring is a structured and trusting relationship that brings young people together with caring individuals who offer guidance, support and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee. A mentor is an adult who, along with parents, provides a young person with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and constructive example. Mentors are good listeners, people who care, people who want to help young people bring out strengths that are already there. A mentor is not a foster parent, therapist, parole officer, or cool peer.
