Rebekah Children's Services is dedicated to promoting the social, emotional and physical well being of children and families.
PROGRAMS
Originally an orphanage founded in 1897, today RCS provides comprehensive accredited behavioral and mental health care to children and their families focused on Santa Clara County's low-income, communities. Children with severe emotional, mental, or behavioral problems receive care and mental health treatment through the therapeutic On-Campus Residential program. Wraparound services support children at risk of removal from the home. This program tailors RCS' array of services to the specific needs of the child and family. Family Linkage services match adoptive and foster homes with children in need. Links 2 Permanency is a systematic effort to connect youth who are emancipating from the foster care system to lifetime familial relationships. This program connects foster kids with permanent adult support. Therapeutic Behavioral Services intervene with children whose behaviors put them at risk of losing foster placements. Phoenix, non-public school, provides quality education for special-needs children in a therapeutic setting, and our community mental health center provides outpatient therapy for children and families. Risk Prevention and Education programs serve over 2,500 children in 13 Gilroy schools and their families annually. The Mentoring program seeks to improve young people's pro-social behaviors, academic achievement, family relationships and peer relationships.
